Business Gifting: Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT TERMS: In order to prepare your gifts for despatch, we require payment on receipt of invoice and in advance of delivery. Payments are made by BACS transfer on Proforma terms. On occasions where the delivery date is more than 8 weeks ahead, we can offer split payments on request. A credit card payment facility is also available but will be subject to a processing fee.
PREPARING YOUR GIFTS: On receipt of payment, your gifts will be prepared and despatched according to the timescales agreed. Where stock is immediately available, we aim to despatch within 2-3 working days. For larger volumes we aim to despatch within 5-10 working days. Bespoke and branded items can take longer.
STOCK AVAILABILITY: We work hard with our gift partners to maintain good stock levels on all gift items but occasionally a gift item may become unavailable. When this happens, we will replace it with a suitable substitute of the same or higher value and always maintain the overall look and intention of your gift.
DELIVERY PARTNERS: We use a variety of partners to ensure delivery of your gifts within your chosen timescales, including Royal Mail, DPD and DHL. Our standard service takes on average 1-2 working days from point of despatch, with 90% of gifts arriving the next working day. You can choose to upgrade to a guaranteed delivery service for 100% assurance of next day delivery.
International deliveries are completed by our courier companies and will vary depending on country. Most European countries take 5-7 working days whilst the rest of the world can be 7-14 days. European deliveries can be subject to additional customs charges which cannot always be known in advance. Any subsequent customs or duty charges applied in-country will be the responsibility of the recipient or the contracting organisation and not of BoxTree.
TRACKING: You may request individual tracking numbers for each gift sent. This enables you/your team to see when all gifts have been delivered.
DELIVERY ADDRESSES: We will ask you to provide us with accurate address information for each gift recipient. It is very important that you check and verify all address details are correct in advance of despatch as BoxTree cannot be held responsible for incomplete deliveries that are due to incorrect addressing. International deliveries will require us to use the email address and telephone number of the recipient due to customs requirements.
RETURNS: On the rare occasion that a gift is returned to us as undelivered, we are able to offer a reissue service for a small charge.
REFUNDS: In the unlikely event that there is a fault found with a gift item we will replace and reissue the gift item on your behalf and also issue a refund directly to your account. We are unable to offer refunds for any other reason.
YOUR DATA: We will send you a data request form to complete and return prior to preparation of your gifts, including name and address details and any special dietary requirements. The data you supply will be stored on our secure server and used only for the purposes outlined in this proposal. All data relating to your gift recipients will be destroyed after use.
