Percy's Bakery: Distinctly Sophisticated Biscuits

Never before has the humble biscuit provoked such feelings of wonder and delight! Forget your crumbly pack of digestives, Percy’s have taken biscuits and given them the ‘Wow!’ factor.

Featuring everyone’s favourites made in an extra-special way, these delicate biscuits, packaged in some pretty cool colours, are a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds.

Percy’s Bakery began life in 1926 with namesake and baker, Percy Fudge, rolling up his sleeves, donning his distinctive bowtie and delivering his baked treats to the Somerset farming community. His great-grandchildren have taken both his baking prowess, as well as his sharp sense of style, to create Percy’s Biscuits. The venture has been an amazing success and they’re now stocking the biscuit shelves of Harrods and Selfridges.

At BoxTree we were inspired to include a range of biscuits in the collection because, with world events meaning a period of prolonged separation for friends and family, sending comforting packages in the post became a way for people to connect as they normally would over a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Laura recounts: “I was at a farm shop at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire having a browse and looking for inspiration, when the gorgeous Percy’s packaging caught my eye… Then I tasted them! They’re now one of the most popular gifts across our range, and also a real favourite with the team at BoxTree HQ. We have to keep a close eye on them because boxes keep mysteriously going missing…

They’re such a lovely supplier as they’re honouring their great-grandad whilst being really inventive with their recipes in a future-focused way. They also have a giving ethos, with charity biscuit ranges created for NHS Charity HEROES who receive 100% of their profits.”
